Chinese New Year

Year of the Golden Dragon
January 23-February 6, 2012

This annual event for families and kids of all ages includes lion and dragon dances each weekend day, martial arts demonstrations, feng shui talks, dance and music performances, plant talks and much more.

The two-week celebration of Chinese culture and history kicks off on January 23, 2012 with a “Rolling in the Wealth” feng shui activity and concludes with two nights of a specially ticketed, traditional lantern viewings on February 5 & 6.

Lantern Viewing

Sunday & Monday, February 5 & 6
6:30-8:30 p.m.

February 4, 5 & 6, come see more than 100 hanging red lanterns, 200 floating lanterns in Lake Zither and a custom lantern installation by HiiH Gallery that will set Lan Su aglow at these special after-hours events. The evenings end with a dragon procession led by Lee’s Association Lion & Dragon Dance Team.

VIP tickets include exclusive seating in the Teahouse and your choice of a special New Year’s tea (Green with Goji Berry, Rose Petal Black or 8 Treasure) and the choice of two menu items (Steam Buns, Mao Do, Dumpling, 5 Treasures Come Knocking, Mooncakes or Cookie Platter). Note, this event is not included with membership and requires a special admission.

Note: After unexpected and unprecedented demand for lantern viewing tickets on December 4 & 5, a special third night was added for Saturday, February 4.
