This is the “Waterside Pavilion.” Its most distinctive feature is the five-panel screen carved from Ginkgo wood. The panels represent gardens in Suzhou. On the backside are descriptions of the individual gardens in several versions of Chinese. The third panel from the left depicts the Humble Administrator’s Garden. This is the Suzhou garden that our garden was modeled after.
