Never twice the same, the Portland Classical Chinese Garden is an authentically built cultural heritage garden and living museum of Chinese trees and flora. Within this authentic Ming Dynasty scholar’s garden, serpentine mosaic pathways lead to harmonious landscapes of plants, water, stones, pavilions, and poetry.

Tuesdays by Twilight at the Portland Classical Chinese Garden, the city’s most intimate outdoor summer concert series, offers a rare chance to enjoy live music in the Garden after hours on six consecutive Tuesday evenings beginning July 7.

Summer Activities

From May through October, the Garden is offering members and visitors alike the opportunity to experience a variety of activities, lectures, and classes. Join a drop in presentation of tai chi, play mahjong, or learn with lectures from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. All activities free with admission.

Summer Hours

In observance of the 4th of July Holiday, the Garden will remain open its regular hours of 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., however the Garden’s Administrative offices will be closed July 3.
