Portrait photography
The Lan Su Chinese Garden does not allow portrait photography within the Garden during the times we are open to the public. The Garden can be rented for $250 for a 1.5 hour photo shoot, which can take place either before the Garden opens or after the Garden closes. Photo shoots may only be scheduled within 30 days of the requested date. For information about before or after hours portrait photography rates, please contact Michele Starry at 503.228.8131 ext. 1002 or .
Tripods
Due to limited space on our pathways and for the enjoyment of all visitors, the Garden cannot allow the use of tripods on weekends. On weekdays, tripods are welcome with the understanding that tripods must be kept on paved pathways, that the use does not impede other visitors, and that photographs are for your own use. The Garden reserves the right to ask visitors to not use tripods during peak visiting times on any day. Monopods are allowed at any time for personal photos.
