Ceramics Show and Sale

In collaboration with N.C.E.C.A’s annual conference, the Portland Classical Chinese Garden is pleased to host a exhibition of works by Peter Olsen, Stephen Sullivan and Ben Waterman titled The Three Friends of Winter. The show and sale, displayed in the Hall of Brocade Clouds, Reflections on Clear Ripples and Celestial Hall of Permeating Fragrance, opens March 6th and will conclude on April 23rd, 2006.

The Portland Classical Chinese Garden is pleased to exhibit a collection of artworks by regional artists Peter Olsen, Stephen Sullivan and Ben Waterman. The three friends live and work in Seattle, Washington and have created a collection of wood-fired pieces to display at the Garden. Their Asian aesthetic and earthen colors easily lend themselves to the tranquility of our own Portland Classical Chinese Garden. This exhibit is in collaboration with N.C.E.C.A (the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts) whose national conference will be held at the Oregon Convention Center from March 6th – March 11th, 2006. The Garden is holding a public reception for the artists on March 10th from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, during these hours only the Garden will be open for free to the public. Make sure to stop by the Garden to see these wonderful works set against the natural splendor of the Garden itself.
