Cultivating Prosperity and a Lasting Legacy

With our successful past and promising future, the Portland Classical Chinese Garden is publicly launching its Lotus Campaign. The Campaign aims to raise one million dollars by the Spring of 2006. We have selected the lotus as our logo for the campaign because it is a symbol of both integrity and purity, long inspiring generations of Chinese poets and artisans. Derived from the image of the flower rising from murky waters, the lotus breaks the surface, stretching toward the sky to reveal a flawless, untainted bloom. As the petals fall away, they reveal a graceful seed pod. The cycle of the expectant bud, exquisite bloom and finally, the promising seed pod signifies Lan Su Yuan’s past, present and future.
