Master Ou Wen Wei demonstrates calligraphy and Qigong at the
Portland Classical Chinese Garden

On Saturday, October 23, Master Ou Wen Wei will demonstrate the ancient art of Chinese calligraphy and a form of Qigong at the Portland Classical Chinese Garden. Visitors will be able to try their hand at calligraphy with Master Ou from 11:00 to 12:00, followed by an introduction to Pan Gu Shengong, a form of Qigong, from 12:00 to 12:45. The calligraphy will take place inside the Hall of Brocade Clouds, and the Qigong will be held on the Hall of Brocade Clouds Terrace. All activities are free with Garden admission.

Master Ou Wen Wei is an internationally recognized Qigong Master, author, poet, and calligrapher. Before presiding over the foundation of Pan Gu Shengong, Master Ou served as a council member of the International Medical Qigong Association and is the former director of the Qigong Science Research Institute of Guangzhou University in China. The Portland Classical Chinese Garden is located at Northwest Third and Everett in Portland. The Garden is open daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, April through October. Winter hours are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily November through March. Regular admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $5.50 for students; children 5 and under are free.
